Denim and Rivets is Anything but Casual

I have another Lacquistry polish for you!  (I still have 4 more untrieds too!)   :o)  This beauty is called Denim and Rivets. The name evokes a casual lifestyle, however this polish is anything but casual!
Denim and Rivets is a "riveting" metallic blue micro glitter with gold bars throughout.  The name "Denim" made me think of grey, because when jeans wear out, they have that really light grey color when they fade. I decided to do Denim and Rivets over a grey background. I chose Zoya Kelly rather than Zoya Dove though, because I didn't want to go too light!
While I never wear gold (I am more of a silver or copper girl) I could't pass this up!  The simplicity of it is stunning!  Immediately upon putting this on, I felt suddenly elegant and beautiful.  I thought I should be wearing a long black gown and going somewhere fabulous!
This is two coats of Denim and Rivets. It goes on rather sheer, so I am glad I went with the darker gray underwear. It also goes on easily. I didn't have to struggle with getting glitter or bars, they came out easily.  It would be interesting to see this over black or navy!
Like a lot of glitter polishes, this one was very hungry for top coat. I used one coat of Gelous, followed by two coats of Seche Vite.  Like most of my Lacquistry polishes, this one is well worth the effort it takes to wear glitter!  The only con was that I had glitter "herpes."  It kept getting everywhere and it was impossible to get rid of. :o)
Here is a parting bottle shot...
