V-Day Mani Day #4-Water Marble

I love water marbles.  Sure they are time-consuming, messy, and they waste nail polish, but the end result is always so eye-catching!
It's far from perfect, but I love the pinkie!
I thought it fitting to do a purple, pink, white and red water marble.  Kind of a no-brainer really!
Pinkie actually has some black in it, but I decided to go without the black.
I actually tried it with black in it too, but decided it didn't look Valentiney enough!  I left that result on my pinkie (above.)
This water marble was kind of hard. I had bubbles, double-dipping issues, and I smeared the color when I top coated; but in the end, I still like the result!  Water marbles are certainly very forgiving!
I used Julep Helena, Priti Etoile Violet, Zoya Burke, and SH White All.
I never show the thumbs!  It usually doesn't matter, but for water marbling it certainly does!  Since each finger is different, here is the thumb result!  Cute? I thought it had too much pink.
Here is a close-up of my two favorite fingers!  LOVE the pinkie!
How about you? Are you a fan of water marbling?
