Nail-Venturous Polish-Pieces of Blue!

I have been going over in my mind HOW to describe this complex polish from Amy of I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous! Describing things is not my strength, so bear with me.  If you have been reading the past few days, then you know I swapped Amy for thirteen of her beautiful handmade polishes!  Pieces of Blue is the second of the thirteen that I have worn.
This polish is so me in that it is earth-toned, but eye-catching. It has a certain sophistication to it, yet has the necessary sparkle!  What I can't figure out is how to describe the base color!  It kind of defies description.  It is a metallic mossy green-blue. It changes colors whether it is in the light or shade.  I can not stop staring at it!  There are micro flecks of royal blue-teal glitter in the polish as well as small hex glitters and then large hex glitters-all royal-teal blue and an occasional navy.
This polish goes on flawlessly!  It is a two-coater and the micro and small glitters come out easily and without necessary manipulation.  The larger glitters come out very rarely and I did not try to manipulate them out of the bottle. Why?  Because this polish doesn't even need them! (And you know how much I love large glitter!)  This polish is superb without the larger hex glitters, so to me they were a bonus when they did come out!  I liked the sparseness of them on my nail!
I did a base coat of Essie Smooth Sailing on my pinkie of my left hand. You can see it on the picture above.  It does darken the polish a bit and make it lean more blue.  I decided it wasn't necessary for this polish to have a base coat. It just did not need it!  This polish can easily stand on its own two feet.
Check out these pictures and see how the light or shade changes the base coat of this polish!
I tried to edit my pictures. I really did!  But I figure that since this polish isn't out there anywhere for you to see, I needed to spam you!
In the picture above, you can see some darker colored hexes. I believe they are a navy color, but I am not certain!  I stared and stared at my nails, but really couldn't figure it out!  I just know that they aren't black.
And below is the arms-length away shot.  Stunning isn't it?!
Here is a bottle shot of Pieces of Blue-a fitting name for this nail polish and another winner from Amy!  I regret for all of your sakes that this one will not be for sale in her Etsy shop. :o(
UPDATE:  After viewing this post, Amy has decided to sell this one in her Etsy shop!  YAY!  So, I will turn my frown upside down!  :o)

I have a feeling a lot of emails are going to be sent to Amy about this polish! Hopefully, she decides to carry it at a later date or as a Limited Edition? It really applied flawlessly! I was super impressed by it and certainly couldn't stop staring at my nails!
