Lacquistry's OH YES I DID!

Me and two of my nail friends (sounds like a cartoon-Adventures of the Nail Friends!) decided to do our nails with Lacquistry's Oh Yes I Did on this beautiful Saturday.  Marnie from Ambience Shop and Hazel, the owner of HazeGlaze on Etsy.  (I just bought my first one from her today!) I am not a fan of browns, but this could be the best brown EVER!!!
The shots you see with the Lacquistry bottle have three coats of Oh Yes I Did on them without a base color.   It is a terrific jelly base!  It had perfect application, and like all of my Lacquistry polishes, verges on the thick side-but not by much.  I prefer this, since it doesn't get all over my cuticles and run everywhere!
Oh Yes I Did is a micro brown glitter base with HOLOGRAPHIC blue hexes in it!  I can not get over the beautifulness of the holo!!!! There are also regular brown hexes in there.  What took me by surprise is that when I swatched this on a piece of white paper, the base color is a smoky purple grey!   That took me by surprise!
In this next picture, you can see the holo effect of some of the blue glitters. Let me tell you, this polish is a MUST HAVE.  The brown micro glitters have that "glow from within" effect and the holo blue glitters just stand out superbly on top of the browns!  I am not even a brown polish fan!  (I own exactly one other brown-Cult nails Power Thief.)  THIS polish easily stands its ground with my ever favorite purple glitters!
Because of the previously mentioned purple grey base color of Oh Yes I Did, I decided to swatch it over Zoya Neeka on my other hand.  There are two coats of OYID on my pinkie and ring finger, and one coat of OYID on my middle and index finger.
Normally, I like having a solid base coat under my glitters to give it definition on the outer edges, but I found after the fact, that I really liked OYID on its own much more!
Here is a close up of one coat of OYID on two of my fingers....You can see the purple much more here.
Here is two coats of OYID on my other two fingers. It covers the purple up much more, but still has that defined outer edge that I always seem to crave.
Here is an arms length away shot!
And since my bottle shots in my haul post sucked, here is a much better bottle shot of Oh Yes I Did!
This unbelievably beautiful!  If you don't have it, you NEED to put it on your wish list!
Jenna is currently taking custom orders; although her shop is closed, so go to her Etsy shop and message her if you feel the urge to make a custom!

LAcey, always happy to help enable! Haha! I took a real gamble on this polish, since I don't even like browns, but it really paid off! You won't regret it!

Teehee. I love cartoons. That's where I got the idea for my blog name: Adventures of the Nail Friends.

That is a really gorgeous brown!
