Happy Birthday To Me and I'm Wearing Evil Barbie by Nailventurous!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!  WOOHOO!  I am working today, but whatever. LOL.  My nails are celebrating!  I couldn't decide what to wear on my nails, so I had a quickie poll on my Facebook page and Nailventurous Evil Barbie won!  Of course, I find that to be very fitting, because I adore Amy, and her polishes are my favorite brand ever!  I have had my eye on Evil Barbie for awhile and now I have it! So, look at this...
I know, right?!  (That's for you Ash-LOL)  First of all, I LOVE the name!  I have never liked Barbie and I have always disliked pink, so to have something named Evil Barbie seemed fitting for me personally. I have also had this rationalization in my head that pink was okay if it was a darker pink and if it had black or grey with it. :o)  Somehow, it made pink seem tougher to me! I'm still trying hard to embrace my inner girlie-girl...
On to the polish!  Have you ever had a polish you wanted so HARD and when you got it, it disappointed you when you put it on?  This has happened to me several times, so I was a little concerned it might happen with Evil Barbie.  But NO!!!!  When I put that first stroke on, I grinned. I could tell immediately that it was everything I had imagined!  This is a STRONG pink jelly that has a beautiful pink shimmer in it!  The black bar, hex and square glitters and micro glitters come out effortlessly and lay flat. The application was not too thick like most glitter polishes. It was actually pretty perfect!  What you see is two coats. It certainly didn't need a third!  NO VNL!
I used a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite and it was mirror-like!  I already know that this is one of those I will wear many, many times. I love it that much!
My first close-up shot!  How do they do that?!   Hexes, squares and bars-Oh My!
