31 DC: DAY 20: WATERMARBLE!

For the water marble,  I had two failures before I finally got it right!  I decided to watch some My Simple Pleasures You Tube Videos on Watermarbling, since she is certainly the queen of water marble!  I got inspired and tried to kill two birds with one stone!  I decided to do cool tones so that I could enter it into Chalkboard Nails contest, and I could also use it here for my Day 20 challenge!  Collete from My Simple Little Pleasures was actually my introduction into the nail polish world back in August of last year. I stumbled across her when I was looking for something more creative to do on my nails besides a french manicure. :o)  One thing led to another, and here I am one year later!
Well, enough about that!  Chalkboard Nails helped me narrow down my color palette by giving the choices of warm tones or cool tones for her nail art contest. I chose cool tones-blue, purple, and green with a charcoal grey as the outline.
I watched several of Colette's videos before deciding on doing the five-point star.  Of course, mine aren't perfect little stars like hers, but I still love how they turned out!
Okay, so none of these really look like a five-point star and I obviously need to practice that; but the result is still COOL! (No pun intended.)
Here is a close-up of the three fingers...
And and even closer view of two...
I use Sinful Colors Exotic Green, Secret Admirer, Why Not, and Amethyst.  Hope you enjoyed!

Below is one of my failures...
I decided to do a holo water marble using China Glaze GR8, Dandy Nails Look Around, Girly Bits Roger That, and color Club Revvolution.  It turned out okay, but not spectacular. :o)

Your watermarble looks great.
And it's important to show the fails, they are learning curves :)
