Maya Cosmetics-Cast A Spell Collection-Swatches and Review!

Welcome to Day Two of my swatches and review of Maya Cosmetics polish line!  Today, I will be reviewing the Cast-A-Spell Collection.  This Halloween-inspired collection consists of three polishes: Hocus-Pocus, Voodoo, and Hex.
Cast A Spell Collection: Hocus Pocus, Voodoo, Hex
Hocus-Pocus is a purple, orange, silver and black glitter polish in a clear base.  There are many types of glitter as well-square, hex, bar, and micro!  I layered it over Milani Black Swift with an accent on my ring finger of Zoya Savita.
Hocus Pocus applied easily and the glitters spread evenly.  It was so dense and so much glitter came out of the bottle, that I only needed one coat!  That is all you see here!  The base was easy to work with and the bottle was packed with glitter.  I had no clumping, no curling and no issues with this one!  I put one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite over the top of it to get a mirror-like effect.

Hocus Pocus: Purple, orange, black and Silver glitter in a clear base.
Voodoo is a very densely packed glitter polish.  It consists mostly of micro-black glitters, but has orange, pink and sliver holo glitters scattered throughout.  It is so dense, that you could probably wear it alone with about three coats, but I decided to layer it.  I used Milani Black Swift and an accent finger of Milani Jiffy Orange on my ring finger.

Because of the density of this polish, I thought it might be thick.  I was wrong.  The polish came out easily and spread very well.  I only used one coat over the base coat.  I finished it off with a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.  I have to add that while my favorites in this whole line are the shimmers and jellies, Maya Cosmetics really knocks it out of the park with her glitters!  They are perfect consistency and have zero application issues!  Every single glitter polish in this line spreads easily and is not thick nor thin.  They are all as easy to use as a regular polish!

Voodoo: micro glitters of black with scatters orange, pink and silver throughout.

Hex is my favorite in this trio!  This dark olive base with bronze shimmer is unbelievable.  I used two coats and it applied perfectly.  I wore it for almost two days, and it wore like iron. I had no tip wear at all.
This polish reminds me of the '70's shag carpets that were in my parents' house growing up!  It just has that look about it!   I could not stop staring at this one and I highly recommend it!
