Emily De Molly-Black Forest

I was blessed to have won a giveaway from Llarowe in the beginning of October!  I won a Glitter Gal and this Emily de Molly Black Forest!
I had been wanting to try Emily De Molly and was shocked that I won one.  I had major issues trying to put Black Forest on by itself.  It was thinner than almost any polish I own and pooled in my nail beds.  I had to layer it 4 times to get it to some opacity, so I highly recommend just doing what I finally did-layer it over a base color.
I layered Black Forest over Milani Black Swift.  The glitters did not spread evenly as you can tell in the pictures.  Some areas had bald spots where glitter should have been.  On the middle finger, I did two coats of Black Forest and you can see that the glitters got hung up on each other and started clumping.
This polish needs someone with patience to apply it.  BUT if that's you, then the payoff is worth it!  Black Forest is stunning once it is on.  A sheer black base with forest green glitters in two sizes makes it pop!

For fun, I decided to matte it.  I LOVED LOVED LOVED the way it looks matted!

You can buy Emily De Molly from Llarowe  for $13 each if you live in the USA.  Otherwise, Emily De Molly, based out of Australia, has an Etsy shop.
