Laquerlicious-Camera Flash

I get to show you a new-to-me indie brand and I am excited!  Laquerlicious (the "C" is left out on purpose) is owned by a nail technician named Michelle who lives in Northern California.  Michelle has been a nail technician for 18 years and has always been interested in making her own polishes.
I have very recently decided to start asking the indie brands that I review a couple of questions about their polish-making process.  Here is what she had to say...
I first mix the concoctions in mini bottles and let them sit for 2 months. So far I have had great luck with no bleeding, no fading no "tinting" and no thickening in that time period. Also, very little settling of glitter or pigment. I buy high quality glitter (specifically solvent resistant) and pigments. I use stainless steel balls designed for polish and nice, standard .5 oz bottles...I do use quality basecoats and topcoats which I stress to my buyers.

Today, I am showing you Camera Flash.  In the bottle, I thought it was a black jelly with multi-colored glitter, but I was wrong!  It is actually a sheer tinted grey base with cool-toned square glitters in it and some smaller hexes scattered throughout.

I decided to layer Camera Flash over Milani Black Swift.  I actually took a bush full of polish and glitter and dabbed it on.  I found that the glitters wanted to clump together a little, and dabbing it allowed me to get the glitters where I wanted them to go!  It actually took me the same amount of time as putting it on would have.
The glitters laid so flat, that I only needed one layer of top coat and it was smooth.
Of course, with all of my multi-colored glitters, I had to matte it!  I used Butter London Matte Finish.
It actually brings out the macro glitters!
I love the multitude of square glitters in this!
