Elevation Polish These Boots Were...

*press sample*
"...made for walking. And one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you."
I absolutely love this classic country song originally done by Nancy Sinatra.  I listened to the version by Patsy Cline and then later by Jessica Simpson.  I loved karaoking to this song!
Lulu, the owner and creative talent behind Elevation Polish, created a stunning polish in These Boots Were... Of course, hers is part of the Tools of the Trade Collection and inspired by the boots she wears mountain climbing-another of her passions.  This polish is set to release in a little over an hour!
These Boots Were... is another complex polish that defied photographs.  It is a burgundy base with red, burgundy and purple shimmer.  In certain light, it looks like it has a pearlescent shimmer as well, but it doesn't!  It is a trick of the eye.
I only needed two coats and it went on smoothly.  I had no issues with application at all and was surprised at how opaque it was. I really expected that it would be a three coater, but it wasn't.
This polish is complex. It has a lot going on, but in a subtle way.
My macro shots seem to have captured the details that I could not get in my regular shots, so I included three...  This one shows the red/gold shimmer flecks.
This one shows that blue/purple shimmer.
This one shows everything, including that pearlescent finish that light gives it!
You can buy Elevation Polish at
Most of her polishes retail for $8.50. She restocks on the 7th and 22nd of each month.
The Tools of the Trade Collection will be available tonight at 10pm EST!
