Nail Polish Party-Celebrating Polished By KPT's 1 year Anniversary!

Today, I went to a nail polish party!  Ever heard of one?  Me neither!  But Katherine from Polished By KPT hosted one for her 1 year anniversary, so me and two other nail bloggers went!  My good friends, Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession and Marnie from Nubbins-4-Nails went to the event together.
Katherine, the owner of Polished By KPT
It was held in a city about 45 minutes away from me, and Katherine promoted it through her IG account-(at)polishedbykpt.    She promised food, crafts, her handmade polish at a discount and a gift box to take home!
Here is a photo of me and Katherine.
Jen, Marnie and I made a very cool handscrub using fresh citrus, oils, and sugars.  Mine smells like grapefruit!
I actually squeezed a grapefruit slice into my scrub!
I also got to meet Chrissy from PolishTBH!  She asked if I was the blog that had that list of indie shops and then she told me her shop. But I must not have heard her correctly; because I didn't recognize the name. But later, I asked her again, and when she said PolishTBH, I fangirled all over her. HAHAHA!  I knew as I was doing it too!  We were fangirls of each other. :D
*sidenote* Apparently, Wicked Polish was there too and I did not introduce myself! :(  NEXT TIME!
YUMMO!  Katherine had chocolate covered strawberrries, fresh lemonade, and other finger foods available!
There was a long table with sections for different things to do:  handmade scrubs, nail art and nail polish station trying out her nail polishes (I NEED Nostalgia!), and for an extra $2, we were able to make nail polish jewelry.
Katherine has a gift for the personal touch which I noticed throughout the time we spent there.  She made gift boxes for each person who had RSVP'ed.  Mine was stamped and had my initials on the outside of the box. Very thoughtful!
Inside each box was one of Polished By KPT's nail polishes.  Mine is a green thermal called Hot Like Wasabi!  There was also some chocolate, a nail file, some striping tape, and some nail art items!
Here is a photo of me, Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession, and Marnie from Nails-4-Nubbins.
And a great one of my two nail buddies!
Katherine also had some of her polishes for sale at the party for 30% off!  Of course, I grabbed all of these except the bottom one!
She also had some glitters.  I am trying to get away from glitters a bit, but I did cave in and buy the one that is second from the top for myself and the second from the bottom for my mom.
And what kind of bloggers would we be without a shot of our nails?
I had such a great time today and I would like to thank Katherine for a fun time and for making us feel welcome!  I can't wait to go to the next one which will possibly be done with a few indie brands in the area!  If you are in the San Jose, CA area and want to go to the next one; follow (at)polishedbyKPT on IG to keep up to date on any events she might do!

Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to come to my nail party and the blog. It was such a pleasure to meet you, Jen, and Marnie in person. I'm definitely planning another gathering soon but this time it will be a grand opening celebration at EcoMonster at their new shop and I will be one of the vendors there. It's both indoor and outdoor event with live music and alcohol.:) I will share more details about this event soon.
