MOd Lacquer

*Press Sample*
Tonight, I have four jelly glitter polishes by Mod Lacquer.
They all had the same application, so rather than repeat myself throughout this post, I will tell you now how that was.
I used three coats for all four polishes.  The bases layered really well,  and the glitters laid flat.  The glitter didn't come out in droves; but that is a good thing, since by the third coat you had a good amount of glitter on the nails.  My one issue is that the glitter did not spread evenly.  You can't really tell by the third coat, but I do feel I need to mention it anyways-Satire and Far Out being the worst offenders.

Radical:  bright blue jelly base with neon pink matte glitters.  No VNL.

Subliminal:  Pink jelly with matte white glitter.  VNL after three coats.

Juxtapose: subdued lime green jelly with lavender glitters. I think this needed more vivid glitters to be able to show through the green.  Slight VNL after 3 coats.

Satire: Peach jelly base with yellow matte glitter. No VNL.

Far Out: Yellow jelly base with bright blue matte glitters.  No VNL.  I love that blue!

I absolutely love Mod Lacquer, but these just didn't hit it out of the park for me like her other ones.  I did however, really like Radical.

Full-sized polishes retail for $9.50. Minis are $4.
