Sinful Shine-Four New Polishes!

Hello!  I am pretty excited, because I have something new to show you today!  I recently bought eight of the new Sinful Shine polishes that recently came out exclusively at Walgreens.  They seem to be have arrived at some Walgreens and not others. These polishes take after the UV style polishes, but are only $2.99 and you do not have to sit with your hand under a lamp.

***Here is what these four polishes had in common:  Easy application, brush was easy to use, all dried super shiny, no staining, and very minor tip wear after one day.***

In The Limelight is a lime green cream polish.  It went on in one coat for me!  I tried to do thin coats, but the polish was so abundant on the brush, that I felt forced to do one coat. (I know that sounds weird, but that is how it went down!)  It was very easy to apply and it is super shiny!  All pictures in this post are without top coat!
Sinful Shine
Man Hunt is a dark sage green with a light green shimmer.  This was also a one coater!
Sinful Shine
Amazonian is a gorgeous blackened emerald green!  Amazonian and Man Hunt were the only two non-cream polishes out of the Sinful Shines that were on display.  This was a two coater.
Sinful Shine
The last one for tonight is Pragmatic.  Pragmatic was a two coater and is a gorgeous shade of lilac!

My thoughts:  While these are being touted as having "Gel Tech,"  this in no way means that your manicure will last two weeks.  I am very rough on my hands and had very minor tip wear after one day.  I do believe that they will last longer than the regular Sinful Colors line and I love the shine that they have and the fact that none of them stained my nails! I did not use base coat nor top coat for any of the pics and I wore each of them for one day.

6 Harts Midnight Delight

Today, I have one from the vaults.  You may have seen my reviews of 6 Harts polishes on my blog in the past.  I have loved them all, and the quality is outstanding! Tonight is no different.  Midnight Delight is a blackened purple base with a purple shimmer.  Added to the mix are small gold hexes.
You can get away with two coats for opacity, but I found that an extra 3rd coat gave it more depth!
The polish went on flawlessly.  I don't use that word lightly either.  I had no issues and the polish seemed to know where to go.  I had a hard time capturing the shimmer with my iPhone, but you can see it on my ring finger!
There weren't a ton of glitters. As a matter of fact, there were hardly any, but I like that about it. It doesn't overpower the base color and shimmer at all.  It gives it a classy look.
Here's the close up of the polish and the gorgeous shimmer!

You can buy 6 Harts in her Etsy shop.  Full Size retails for $8-$9 each.  6 HArts also has a Facebook page!  Click HERE to go "like" her page!

Jindie Nails Princess Consuela Bananahammock and Mango with the Flow

Today, I have the last of the Jindie Nails' polishes I was sent to review!  These last two are part of the Spring Chic Collection.
First up is Princess Consuela Bananahammock.  Yes, you read that right!  Here is Jindie Nails' description...
Princess Consuela Bananahammock:  Named after the Friends episode where Phoebe changed her name to this hysterical name.   PCBH is a bright yellow crelly with a mix of matte satin red, orange, neon pink, neon orange, neon dark orange hex plus matte red tiny red stars.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.  Meant to be worn on its own.
I used three coats of Princess Consuela Bananahammock on its own.  The yellow base was streaky, but built up decently in three coats.  I had a hard time getting the glitters out of the bottle-both small and large.  I did some fishing for the larger glitters and after three coats, got a good amount  on my nail.
Jindie Nails has a real flair for putting color combos together and I love the yellow base with the pink, red and orange!  There are actually stars in the bottle as well, but none came out on my nail.
Here are a couple of closer shots of the nail so you can see the glitter combo!

Don't mind the bubbles. Those are from my top coat.
My last polish from Jindie Nails is called Mango With the Flow.

Mango with the Flow:  Pastel bright peach crelly with metallic silver hex, blue & purple iridescent hex, lime green/gold iridescent hex.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.  Meant to be worn alone.

Mango With the Flow gave me the most issues as far as application.  The bottle was jam-packed with glitter. There was so much, that I had a hard time getting the base color on my nail and the glitter would drag it off. It also clumped on itself.  This polish has great potential though!  All it needs is to be reformulated with less glitter and it will be great for those nude glitter lovers!
I used three coats along with some dabbing. I used a coat of Gelous and Seche Vite to top it off.

Jindie Nails Hot Pink Floyd

This blindingly pink 80's throwback is part of a duo from Jindie Nails that just came out yesterday!  The name is Hot Pink Floyd and I call it an 80's throwback, because neon was BIG in the 80's and I had a favorite neon pink tank top that I wore constantly!  Hot Pink Floyd is part of the Matte Velvet Collection along with sTEALth. (Click link to see my review.)
Here is Jindie Nails' description..
Hot Pink Floyd:  Matte, velvet bright hot pink jelly with bits of real silver, iridescent blue, purple, green.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.  Looks great matte finish or with shiny top coat.  Top coat made no difference in length of wear after being tested with and without top coat for one week.   Made with excellent quality matte base.
I used three coats and it went on smoothly and evenly. I love the iridescent glitters in it!  I do have a huge weakness for bright pink polishes and this one is right up my alley.
Here's my macro!
Of course, no good matte can get away from me without top coat!  So here is Hot Pink Floyd with a coat of Seche Vite!  She shines so pretty!  The glitters laid so flat that I only needed the one coat of top coat.
And a shiny macro!

Jindie Nails sTEALth

Today, Jindie Nails came out with some new polishes-six polishes in the Spring Chic Collection, two in the Matte Velvet Collection, and one LE polish!  Today, I will show you my favorite of the four she sent me to review-sTEALth from the Matte Velvet Collection!
Here is Jindie's description:
sTEALth:  Matte, velvet finish deep teal crelly with blue, purple and green iridescent and color shifting glitters.   Opaque in 2 coats.  Meant to be worn alone or can be worn with shiny top coat for different look.  Looks fabulous  either way.  This matte polish holds up much better than most and is the same great quality brand base as my other polishes.   Tested this matte base for a week and held fine in normal wear and tear.  Showed no signs of wear for a couple of days.
These first few pictures are with a top coat.  I used three coats of sTEALth and it went on perfectly. I had no issues whatsoever.
While I am not a huge teal lover, I was instantly drawn to this polish once I put the top coat on it. The glitter combo is awesome.
Here is a macro shot!
sTEALth is a matte polish, and while I prefer to wear it glossy, here it is matted.
I must also add that sTEALth dried quite quickly, like most matte's do!

Girly Bits Bachelor's Button

Tonight, I have the last Girly Bits polish that I was given to review, Bachelor's Button, from the Spring It On Me Collection which consists of five polishes.  Bachelor's Button is a blue-leaning periwinkle that has a linear holo to it.   Bachelor's Button was true to Girly Bits high standards.  It took two coats, and the polish smoothed out beautifully and went on flawlessly. I have continued to be impressed by the quality and the beauty of each Girly Bits polish I have had in my hands. This one is no different!
Bachelor's Button in the sun, you can see the linear holo very vividly.

The great thing about Bachelor's Button was that the holo was subtly apparent in the shade and indoors.   That impressed me as most holo polishes only show their holo in the sun!
Here is what it looks like indoors.  It is such a beautifully done holo polish, and I am a sucker for periwinkle.  The buttery application made it perfect.

SinfulShine Display

I know that Nouveau Cheap already posted display pics of the Sinful Shine polishes, (and some of her pictures are clearer,) but I found my local display and wanted to show them as well!
In case you don't know, Sinful Colors has a new line of polishes out that are supposed to mimic the gel-style of polishes that have recently come out.  They boast a high shine and don't need to be cured.  They are exclusive to Walgreens and cost $2.99 each-$1 more than their regular line.
NOTE: Not all Walgreens have them in stock yet, and I could find no information as to when it is supposed to officially be out. I called several Walgreens in my area, and only one had them in.
Here are some close-ups of the 32 new polishes and their names.  ( A couple were already out of stock!)
Steel Reserve, My Kryptonite, Royal Flush, Amazonian, Nouveau Purple.
Man Hunt, Rendezvous, At Sea, Mardi Gras, VIP
Sailor's Delight,  In the Limelight, Bottoms Up, Spitfire, Most Sinful, Rebel
Yours Truly, Picante, Skinny Dipping, Dark Room, Break Away, (White one)

Set The Mood, Alfresco, Tan Lines, Bananappeal, I'm Blushing, Come Hither

Blue Suede Shoes, All The Rage, Devious, Pragmatic
Did you see any you like?  I bought eight of them, but want several more!  Here are the ones I bought...
Manhunt, In the Limelight, and Amazonian

Most Sinful and Alfresco

Picante, All the Rage and Pragmatic
Hope you enjoy!  I will have some quick one finger swatches up soon!

Girly Bits Emerald City Lights

Girly Bits has just come out with several new polishes, and tonight I get to show you Emerald City Lights!  Emerald City Lights is part of the Spring It On Me Collection, released just two weeks ago.  It is a sheer emerald green base with a blue shimmer.  I layered it over Sinful Colors Exotic Green here.
I only needed one coat for coverage over Exotic Green and it layered very well!  I just love the blue-green shimmer that is in it!
I also wanted to layer it over Sinful Colors Black On Black.  I think that shows you what you are truly getting in a layering polish.  Again, I used only one coat of Emerald City Lights.
I love how vivid the blue-green is over black!
Here is a macro shot over black.
My last shot is Emerald City Lights on its own.  The description does say it can be worn on its own, so I used four coats, but still had VNL.  To be fair, my nail line is REALLY dark. Emerald City Lights built up very well and I used one coat of top coat as well.  I will say that my preferred way to wear it would be layered over another color!
