~OPI Partial BRAZIL COLLECTION~
The moment I saw the Brazil Collection, I knew I had to have almost all of them. For me to even say that is crazy. I am pretty much an all indie girl. But this collection spoke to me, and so I splurged. Since you can get regular swatches at any of the OPI bloggers' posts, I decided to do nail art. Check it out...
For this nail art look, I did a base coat of Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. It took two coats and was streaky on the first coat, but evened out on the second coat.I used a dotting tool for the dots and used OPI Where Did Suzi's Mango?, Red Hot Rio, and Amazon...Amazoff. I got this fantastic idea from Lucy's Stash.
ON my other hand, I did a skittle mani with the OPI's, and then dotted over them with other colors from the collection.
For this simple look, I used I Sao Paulo Over There as a base coat. I used two easy coats. I then used a striping brush and black polish for my middle and ring fingers.I love fishtail mani's and so for this one, I used a base coat of Live.Love.Carnival and Where Did Suzi's Mango on my pinkie and index finger. I also used those and Taupeless Beach for the fishtail design.
Here is Live.Love.Carnival on its own. It is a gorgeous color! I used two coats.
For this gradient, I used Amazon...Amazoff and 4 in the Morning (from the Gwen Stefani Collection.) I had one heck of a time getting it out of my cuticles, but with the help of some friends, I managed to get them clean!
Before I really got into nail polish, I only owned about 14, and most were OPI. I knew back then that OPI had a great talent for reds, and Red Hot Rio is no different. This was my favorite of the collection. I did some stamping with Color Club Revvvolution.I use two coats, and it seemed to me to be more of a squishy crelly! I AM IN LOVE.
This last design was also inspired by Lucy's Stash. I used Taupeless Beach for the dots, and Amazon...Amazoff and Toucan Do It if You Try for the base. Toucan Do It If You Try went on amazingly!
