KBShimmer 2015 Spring Collection and Men are from Marsala

Spring colors are always so fresh after a dreary winter.  I am so excited to be able to share my swatches and reviews of part of the KBShimmer 2015 Spring Collection!  There are seven crelly glitters, four holos, one cream, and three new vinyl sheets! (I will be posting on Instagram and Facebook my use of the white cream and the nail vinyls over the next week or so.)

I have two of the crelly glitters, the four holos and the gorgeous polish that was inspired by Pantone's Color of the Year 2015.

~Blue-d Lines~

"When the air turns warm, and there is not a cloud to be seen, the sky is always the most beautiful color aquamarine. This ultra-holo polish is inspired by those perfect days. Pale blue in color, this cool toned polish shines with linear holographic sparkle. Best in 2 coats."
I used two very easy coats for Blue-d Lines.  There were no application issues. Quite frankly, these holos applied like a dream and quite flawlessly.  The linear holo in them reminds me of some of the international brands who do linears and are not 4-free.  Fantastic!

"Based on the 2015 Pantone Color, Strawberry Ice, this this peachy rose colored polish shows off gold shimmer indoors, while outside, a linear holographic rainbow shines. Best in 2-3 coats."
I don't wear this shade of pink, but I was wowed by the extra dimension Blush Money had with the added touch of gold shimmer! It is highly noticeable and gives you something to look at when not in the sun.  Again application was flawless.

~Thistle Be the Day~

"As child, picking wild flowers was a coveted pastime, until the dreaded thistle lured us in with its deceptive beauty. A pale pinkish purple, this thistle inspired polish is all beauty and no tricks as it shines in the sun with a linear holographic rainbow. Even indoors, this ultra-holo polish shows off the best spring has to offer. 2 coats recommended."
Thistle Be the Day is a show stopper. Application was flawless here as well and I only needed two coats.  Christy's description made me laugh as I have always gotten caught by the dreaded thistle.

~Ins and Sprouts~

"Like a new bud popping through the soil, this pale green citron colored polish is alive with linear holographic shine. This ultra-holo polish is best is 2 coats."
When I first started collecting polish, I hated greens.  Now, they I adore them. The color that never seems to be made enough is this citron color. The ugly greens or military greens are my favorite and coupled with the superb linear flash, I am all in!

~Funky Cold Patina~

"Like a long forgotten copper statue turned blue green in color, this polish features a cool turquoise green base, with pops of metallic copper, blue and purple. 3 Coats Recommended."
Funky Cold Patina completely nails the look of weathered patina.  I love the base color and the use of navy and gold glitters.   I had minor issues of streaking, but covered in three coats.

~Meow or Never~

"When winter is almost over, and spring is near, I crave the warmth of newborn kittens, enjoy the last days of wool sweaters, and foggy, overcast mornings. Based on the Pantone spring color Glacier Gray , this polish is a very pale gray, almost white in color with pops of purple, gray, periwinkle and sky blue. 3 Coats Recommended."
I'm not even a fan of white crelly glitters, but this is not white!  It is a very soft grey base and I knew it would sit well with my skin tone.  I love the added addition of one of my favorite muted colors-periwinkle.  Application was easy in two coats.

And inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year for 2015...

~Men Are From Mars-ala~

"Based on the Pantone 2015 color of the year, Marsala, this earthy red-brown shade is fresh addition to neutral pallets. When indoors, this shade is rich and warm, and outdoors or in bright light, it features a linear holographic finish, making this a shade perfect for the sunny spring days or for an office ready look."
I mean, what can I say?  I didn't expect to like this color as much as I did. I fell IN LOVE.  This color range isn't even in my top ten of favorite colors, but I fell hard for this one.  Trust me, and get this polish!   I used 2 flawless coats.
Final thoughts:  KBShimmer has nailed it (no pun intended!)  with her linear holos.  Every one was flawless in application and stunning in person.  If anything, I would say, "Can you please start adding a shimmer to them like you did with Blush Money?!"

Prices:  KBSHimmer's prices are some of the lowest out there. All of the above polishes are $8.75 each!
